Common Impact Data Standard

Tiers of the Common Impact Data Standard

The Common Impact Data Standard has three tiers of alignment: basic, essential, and full. These tiers indicate the level of data complexity that can be recorded and shared.

If you are a social purpose organization or funder looking for software, it’s important to ensure the one you pick can record impact data at the level of complexity your organization requires.
If you are a developer or interested in a full technical description of the alignment tiers, class IDs, and corresponding data, you can find more information on the Developer’s page.
