Public review example
This is an example of the public review process for a new version the Common Impact Data Standard.
The draft of a new Common Impact Data Standard version is completed, and ready for review.
This page is updated to reflect the public review, including the draft standard, the deadline for providing feedback, and where you can provide feedback—typically a public review form or email address.
The public submits feedback during the given review period. Everyone is welcome to participate in the review process, from users to the general public. Feedback can be specific to sections of the standard, or more general.
Please note that public reviews of the Common Impact Data Standard are technical reviews of elements like the ontology map, classes and properties of the standard. While all social purpose organizations benefit from this standard, its most direct users are data standard professionals, software developers, database administrators and those who manage back-end data management for social purpose organizations.
The Technical Committee reviews and responds to every comment and suggestion received during the review period, and responses are shared publicly with everyone who participated in the review process.
The feedback received during the public review is used to finalize the new version of the Common Impact Data Standard.
